thanks flips, i didn't know there was a difference in a standard heater and the deluxe, but there is! if you want to get the setup make sure to get the heater box from under the hood with all cables!

Re: my '64 c-10 swb project with steel floor from a '70
Sorry the fan won't do you any good,,, at least you have a heater, when I got mine wasn't even connected, wouldn't have worked if it would have been connected.. LLOL Just a shell laying on the floor Ha Ha I've install vintage air but haven't completed the connection or the A/C as yet.. I'm thinking of reworking the lines before charging it up.. at the cost of 134A these days no need to waste $.

57 truckguy; ya, vintage air would be nice but out of my price range, right now!! Lol, maybe one day!!
i have yet to go talk to the guy that has two big back window long bed trucks, i have been told by the wife to want til income taxes come in! she thinks a lil like me and said take $600 with you and start with $400 for both! i'm hoping they both have ac and all the deluxe acc., that would be a score of a life time for me! i told the wife i would still like to go check them out to see what year they are and what they got! i know they are 64-66, she said (No, money talks) lol!! anyways i'll have some pictures of my bumper in the next day or two, going to go work on it the next two days if i can! depends on (weather and or wife) sometimes i dont know whats worse, lol!! j/k!!

Re: my '64 c-10 swb project with steel floor from a '70
this is my next project to start on it's a 1969 roadrunner, when i get totally done with my truck!! it's my buddy's and he said he'll wait til i'm done with my truck before we start on it, it's only got 43000 miles on it, his uncle is the orginal owner, 3 dents which will be easy to get out and very lil rust mostly surface rust, 2 rust spots can be seen in the first picture kind of behind driver rear tire and on the driverside under the rear side marker area! interior, trim pieces, grille and bumpers is all in the shop covered but the headliner was left in! came with a 383 4 speed, but he has a 440 for it! he said he'll buy all the parts and i can put it together, also said his buying the parts now and until i'm done with my truck so it will go back togeher alot faster then my truck, it's one of my dream cars anyways, so i'll have fun! but anyways thought i would share this with you!!

thanks guys, from the comments!! i'm trying to stay at a steady pace so i'll get it road ready by sept! i may not have all of the body work done by then but alot of it will be! i hope, lol!! i got an extra set of wheelwell tubs for the rear that way i can tub it some this summer, i believe it will be around 4-5" wider per side! i was talking with my dad yesterday an told him what i was planning this year and when i'm done my truck will have that prostreet look, with cowl induction hood, widening the wheelwells! we we'll see what happens this year, lol!!

Re: my '64 c-10 swb project with steel floor from a '70
thanks flip, i have been around muscle cars and trucks my whole life! i love them all, i cant say i hate any of them but i do have ones i favor more!! i like just about all of them from the 1930's-1970's, when a car was a car not a tin can, lol!! things back they were made better you know! my uncle had a 67 gto that would do a wheelie no problem, could be going down the road 40-50mph. and still lite the tires up and the fun part was it looked like it was all stock til you opened the hood !! fun memories, lol!! now he has a 62-63 nova that he's putting a 396 in it, it's still in pieces! he just bought it and is still getting parts from the guy as he cleans out his garage and finds it all! i'll get pictures of it this weekend if i can remember to go by there!
i haven't really done anything to my truck yet, lol! i did get some measurements my wheelwells are 11.5" stock and will be going to 15.5", and i did get my ashtray panel so i can clean and paint it to match the heater, glove box, gauge cluster, and i'll be painting the door panels too! i having a problem with what color sunvisors and armrest to get! my cab will be mostly silver with a small amount of blue, i was thinking of the gray and black armrest from classicparts.com, and to match them i would have to get the dark gray sunvisors! but i would like some input from you guys, as to what you think! i was also thinking of trying to dye the gray sunvisors blue but i dont know!! any help would be great

The roll pan looks smooth!
Your "boltless" bumper looks fantastic! Really clean look to it like that.

Nice job on the bumper. That was my original plan, until I decided to run chrome.

My problem is I tinker with stuff then set it aside when I decide I dont have everything I want or need to finish it. That is why my build thread is such a mess LOL

well mcmurphy sent me the part i need to fix my heater! it needed to be cut a lil bigger for the deluxe heater core, and the flat metal piece switched for the metal flap, then it got two new rivets! i got the part that bolts to the firewall cleaned and painted, i also took brass wire wheels to my heater core to clean it up too! anyways let me know what you think!! again i'm not done with it i got to get the gasket kit and get the motor/fan and some wire mesh for it still!
