Bouncy,

That dark Blue one puzzles me on the price,
it must be a CA thing cause price seems $$.

Yeah, It looks more like a $4,000 truck than $12,000.

Re: 2wd Blazer and Jimmy's find thread

The dark blue isn't even a factory 2wd if I remember correctly. From the pics on his ad there are no trailing arms. I emailed him before he painted it earlier this year. I believe the bottom two pictures of the new ad showing the underside and when it was just primered were the pictures he posted on the previous CL ad.

The blue one doesn't comapre too well after looking at the red one. Either way they are overpriced for todays market.

Re: 2wd Blazer and Jimmy's find thread

Here's a 73 that would be a good candidate for some customizing (beyond what has already been done). No price though

Here is a rough one that is probably being overlooked by a lot of people. 20 hours left and doesn't even have the $300 opening bid met yet.
Of course, rough might be an understatement!!

Re: 2wd Blazer and Jimmy's find thread

I think the $5,000 shipping fee is killing the deal. I wouldn't agree to buy the truck with that in the listing - I'm not sure how legally binding it is.

The molded in top isn't very appealing either. What's the point of a non-convertible convertible?

Re: 2wd Blazer and Jimmy's find thread

I don't think the shipping is killing the deal, I think the fact that the Blazer is such a mess is killing it.
Shipping issue aside, he is not out of line with his price. If it's a stock 2wd Blazer frame, the frame is worth $300. He listed his phone number, so clearing up the shipping deal would only take a minute.

I know, I'm really just trying to make personal excuses so I don't think to hard about how I could buy it... and the other one, and the other one, and the other one....

Preach it brother!!!! They're meant to be driven without the top on, if not then buy a truck. Now this is coming from the guy who bought a trazer at one time

Dang, I thought the price was a miss print. That is more than fair in my neck of the woods. Why are all the great deals across the country.

Good luck with the sale, should move really fast for you.
