1960 -66 Truck literature, ads, post cards, books, posters, manuals

Mine started with the original 63 glovebox book and grew from there. Currently up to around 75 brochures & cards, a bunch of magazine and newspaper ads, a dozen books, around 12-15 posters, and a host of other dealer giveaways and such.

Like the trucks.....it can be addictive. This thread is a good example of just some of the many items that are out there.

I'd start with a 2 drawer file cabinet. Will give you room to grow the collection!!!! I'm up to a 4 drawer myself.

Found another 63 item. Was a stamp issued in Iceland in 1963 for the 100th anniversary of the Red Cross. Shows a 63 ambulance, different, but thought it was pretty cool for a $2.00 find.

I'm always amazed at some of the places our trucks turn up.

I just picked up a 1963 GM factory service manual for the GM trucks, it's the main manual the rest apparently are suppliments to this one, also found a factory owners manual for my 63 at a local swap meet. Paid a pretty good dollar but nice to have.

And still being used. The factory reference material still provides tons of info.

That's what I told the wife last night when I came across them. Told her it was enough to keep up with the US material.

I have found one piece in Mexico and recently found a stash on the 63 tire options in England. So now I can add Iceland to the list.

I have seen some of the original artwork come up for sale. Been a year or so since I saw the last one.....and can't remember what it sold for either.

Picked up the 63 Bus brochure. Last one I needed to complete my 63 truck info book. Also the 63 panel & 63 diesel truck brochure which I hadn't listed yet.
