It is great although I had the engine done twice because first douchebag put .010 bearings on an .020 crank.

if you have any orange peel, by all means color sand it. Just because you color sanded and buffed it doesn't mean you cant drive it. It's already show quality.

I'm assuming you're torn because of the factory-correct look? Super slick paint wouldn't exactly fit the bill. But for me, you're building something nicer than the factory put out, so I wouldn't worry too much about wet sanding to get it nice & smooth.
