No, they're not run, you have to break them in with the correct oil, etc.

The warranty is supposed to be 3yr 36K if replacing a 350, it's supposedly only 1 yr 12 months if you replace a "non 350" engine with it (like a straight 6), but as far as they know... your old 350 blew up

And no, mine is still covered in plastic in the garage. My 3 yr warranty might run out before I even install it!

I'm going to make a video with stuff with the current date with the engine on a stand with the ID tag, etc before I install it, just in case.

I've knocked out a ton of projects since I bought the motor. I bought it to replace the low compression smoking 350 in my truck now, but the damn thing keeps running good, so I haven't "had" to do it.

I used the Joe Gibbs break in oil that I purchased at NAPA.

If anyone is looking, Radley Chevrolet in Virginia has the 10067353 small block crate engines for $1675 with free shipping. I just bought one from them and the engine looks great. Save $400 over the new iteration of the 350 that Summit and Jegs sells.
