Re: Project "Redemption" 68 SWB Fleetside
I brushed the KBS on my small block. Was a ***** but it came out good. To me it need couple coats and to do multiple coats you either do em right after one another or wait, scuff, clean, and recoat. Good s@#t though.

Looking great! Always a good feeling seeing the UPS guy roll up and stop in front of the house. I've been trolling around looking for updates on this.

Re: Project "Redemption" 68 SWB Fleetside
Thanks, yeah I was excited to see him. I've been waiting on these parts for a while I'll have some updates to the thread over the next couple of weeks as I get the rear dropmember installed.

Re: Project "Redemption" 68 SWB Fleetside
Looks like your pretty set now! Ya know i left my a note on my door with instructions on where to leave a package one day and i left him a tip with a thank you note at the drop off point, it was a pretty heavy package, the driver never took the tip.. Well, I tried anyway.

Nice collection of parts you've got, again! This should be fun to watch you put it all together.... almost as fun as actually doing it!

Re: Project "Redemption" 68 SWB Fleetside
Didn't have a lot of time this weekend to work on the truck but I did manage to get the notches in place! Still need to cut the frame and get the notch caps on!

I know, I always think I'm going to get more done than I really do and it gets me frustrated.

Thanks Mike, its nice to have parts that go together so easily I'm hoping to have the Rear Dropmember finished this weekend. Still need to get my rear rebuilt before I put it back under and have a rolling chassis but it's slowly getting there.
