Re: 86 k 20 project "cletus"

Charlie you should be ok. Its just a connector that wont be on your harness on the bady side. So you will have a spot on the column connector that has nothing plugged into it.

Lookin Good,

Sarge

Thanks Dennis and Sarge. I'm sure the column swap will go well.

Thanks Dan. Hey everyone in case you haven't seen it I placed a wtb ad for a good air cleaner and exhaust manifolds. In case you all know anyone who has them to spare I need to buy them pretty quick here.

Re: 86 k 20 project "cletus"

Making an ambitious goal for assembly. I'm going to be working on the truck tonight and most of the day Saturday. By the end of day Saturday I hope to have the following done (keep in mind I usually set pretty aggressive goals for myself):

1. Steering column swapped out for the new tilt column. -- Canceled - went with stock column.
2. Install Exhaust Manifolds -- DONE
3. Engine accessories installed -- DONE
4. Core support and radiator installed -- DONE
5. Torque converter bolted to flywheel, install starter, and lower bell housing installed. -- DONE
6. Transmission cooler lines installed -- DONE
7. Plug holes I had to cut in cab floor to access square nuts that were spinning in place on cab mounts bolts. -- DONE
8. Paint and install shift linkage - DONE
9. begin wiring -- DONE

Re: 86 k 20 project "cletus"

Well I didn't get as much done as I would have liked yesterday. The pic with all the hydraulic lines is my pump and valve unit assembley for my snow plow. Lots of wires everywhere too as we started the electrical work. She is coming together now, but it sure is a messy phase

I updated my list in the previous post with what was done and not done.

Re: 86 k 20 project "cletus"

Thanks guys!

Sarge - I am going to use your tank on my Pops project. I won't be rolling on that project until spring time. Plenty of time on the tank. I could use the NP208 sensor as soon as you can though. Thank you sir!
