John Taller tire or rim will work. But not at this time for sure. I have to have the tire up in the fender. That is the look I want lol. I will look at the crossmember and see what I can do. But I have pushed it to the max. I just cut one coil. Only one. If I change the front up to much then the The back has to be raised. And I love the look of it now

Re: 35 Years In The Making!

G man. Have you lookied at sectioning 1.5" out of the front crossmember?
Lets the truck sit low but the crossmember will tuck higher, you can run a taller spring , so, same low stance. But more clearance

Yea sounds like the plan now. If I can get clearance on the lower control arms that would be great. Oh well I have cut everything else up, why not that too. Less cost this way so that is the plan.

Oh been down with work. Very busy seems like nothing less than 11 hours a day again. This past week been down with a feaver of 101 102 but worked all week Dock said nothing this weekend and this morning is the first time the sheets were not wet from sweat when I woke up. Feel pretty good not like flew its been hard to get over it. Work not a good thing but too many guys on vac and Injured list anyway. My white Blood cel count is very low but he said a virus will do that. Oh also I also drank a lot of water and he said I need to get a Gatorade in there now and then. So I think I am on the mend. But not much progress on the truck. House is looking great with the new paint and Gutters. Thanks John.

Sorry to hear you've been sick Bob. I imagine the temps we've been having don't help either. Hope you get better soon.

Thanks Absintheisfun. I have been so busy at work. The Freight is out of control and getting a ton of over time. I have to make some decisions on my pickup with the front crossmember. Should just put air ride up front and just move forward. I love the stance also and I will find a way some how. I just need a couple of more inches of ground clearence and I will be happy. Should just buy a Potrebuilt crossmember and be done with it. That is the ticket. It seems like every year I say I will make it to Goodguys and well going to have to wait till next year. I try to make the build fun and when it starts to go the other way I stand back and go boating. Goodguys starts tomorrow in Spokane Wa and I will try very hard to get over there and check it out.
