Re: 540 BBC 68 Burb Dually 54" Boggers on Rocks
Thanks buddy, well i think i initially built the truck cause as like every little kid i grew up always wanting a monster truck! So i decided to build somthing close to one haha, initially i built the truck to do mild trail riding and somthing to just kinda cruse around in. Then i decided that i wanted to get 54" boggers and wanted to keep the dually look so i bought 6 of them lol. Now with the nitrogen monster truck shocks its pretty much gonna be used for crushing cars and depending on how things go with the SEMA response possibly traveling but well see.

Re: 540 BBC 68 Burb Dually 54" Boggers on Rocks
Consol finally all burned into place, the other side will have a removable pannel to get to all the switchpannel wiring as well as the transmission and transfercase linkage. Should work out pretty good. Just need to drill out the holes for the auto meter gauges.

Re: 540 BBC 68 Burb Dually 54" Boggers on Rocks
On to more important stuff. Whats a cool truck with out a built in cooler!!!!! I made it all out of left over diamond plate from doing the floor. It is 9 inches tall and 65 inches wide with the capibility to hold up to 125 12 oz "soda cans". Oh and the center has 2 18 gauge dividers that are welded in on both sides to make it water proof so that the center can hold eggs, bacon, bread ect and it will stay cool with out getting wet. The center will still have a drain plug just incase you do need to use it for icing down some "soda cans".

Re: 540 BBC 68 Burb Dually 54" Boggers on Rocks
Love it! Free labor! The console looks pretty awesome. Are you going with racing seats or luxo buckets? A set of 07+ Escalade buckets would look SCHWEET in this.
I don't remember if i asked about the 4th door.... Are you doing one? Don't act like you don't have the abilities.... Don't be lazy... :P As for the cooler... Whatcha gonna do about insulation? Drink your "sodas" really fast? I assume you are going to have a latch on the doors? Cant be having ice cold "sodas" flying all over the cab when taking this thing off some sweet jumps (said in my best Napoleon Dynamite voice) |

Re: 540 BBC 68 Burb Dually 54" Boggers on Rocks
you think you're going to be able to pull up that lid with a magnet that will hold 125 cans full of "soda" when you are barreling over jumps and crushing cars and just wearin it out?
I was talking about cooler insulation. If you just put ice in the box, it won't really keep things cold long. You are going to need something to keep the cooler cool. |
