Re: 72 Dropmember Suburban

Got her moved home yesterday and I stuck the old grill on. Think rims/tires new grill shell will be the next things to get. I have a pretty good set or painted bumpers, but Im going to get chrome ones.

Re: 72 Dropmember Suburban

Got the passenger side of the roof sanded and buffed. It sure is a lot easier doing the top without the body lines. I have to wait until I get my tire dollys to get to the drivers side sanded and buffed because there just isnt enough room.

Decided to install my slosh tubs and what a job that turned into. The front passenger wheel had 2 lugs nuts stuck. Took me a couple hours to get the tire off but finally did and got one tub in.

looking great, and I LOVE the sign.

New Type72, where do you live, where you can run down to the local junkyard and pick up a burb? I only ask because I want to move there .

Yep, I figured that out. I got a little scuff on the one I have installed. I also figured out they can't be installed when I install the trim so I will fix the scuff on the one then. I am going to install the other one soon mainly to free up some garage space and keep it in a safe place.

I didnt paint the underside of them and I think when I have them out again, I am going to shoot some of that color matched bed liner material on the underside like I did in the cargo area.

Mike is supposed to be sending me templates of the filler panels he made for his truck too.
