I've looked thru several pages of the classifieds & did not see a reprogrammed harness for '05 GTO engine & auto trans.

Re: LS engine swap info
I just helped a guy do this very engine in a 72 GMC. You will need a different oil pan, have to remove the oil cooler from the side of the engine and if its an L99/6l80e, you will need a high hump floor to clear the trans.

Re: LS engine swap info
The Hooker header looks good, but being cheap, I found a set of Trailblazer SS manifolds on eBay. I took off the heat guards, ground off the mounting points for them, plus all the casting flash and part numbers. They look awesome and I have 40ish dollars in them. Just talked to a guy about ceramic coating them and they'll be done, still at half the cost .

I used them on the '67 Panel Truck. They fit like a glove and were easy to connect the rest of the exhaust to. The shop that did my exhaust just welded the o2 bungs in the pipe below the manifolds. That is a good price. The cheapest I could find on e-Bay when I bought mine was $319..... I couldn't find any GM takeoffs at that time. LockDoc

Re: LS engine swap info
I'm not sure what you consider reasonable, but a lot of guys are running the Doug Thorley 324y-c https://www.summitracing.com/parts/dte-324y-c
I have them going into my 71 with 6.0 and they seem to be a really nice fit. I've had them in once with the engine in and out several times.

Re: LS engine swap info
I found this guy in Florida and had him rework the factory harness that came with the LS1 that I got from a 2002 TransAm...he did a great job at a reasonable price...I think it was around $350.....

Re: LS engine swap info
My 64 had a 6 cylinder in it. I have a set of V8 stands which mount in a forward location of the stock 6 cylinder stands. I bought adapter plates for my 4.8 to use standard motor mounts. Any ideas on which stands will be better to use ? Thanks for any advice.

The Fbody pan is what we need; at GM parts direct it appears the pan does not come with new bolts, don't see them for the windage tray either. Are these bolts re-usable, if not has anyone ordered these separately?

Re: LS engine swap info
The oil pan bolts and windage tray bolts are reusable.

Re: LS engine swap info
Thanks aggie91; I talked with the local Chevy parts guy & new bolts come with the pan & windage tray.
New question, do we use antiseize on the oil pan bolts?

Re: LS engine swap info
You don't need to, but it couldn't hurt to put a little on them
