Re: Calling all LS1 converted trucks.
Tremec made the T56 for the following cars: '98-02 F-body, Corvette Z06, SVT Mustang Cobra, Aston Martin DB7 Vantage & V12 Vanquish, and Holden Commodore & Holden Monaro, and possibly others.
Keep this in mind; the T56 is made by Tremec, NOT General Motors, and it has been used in several applications all over the place. I cannot tell you the exact differences, I just know that, between the Viper and Z06/F-Body model, the shifter is in a slightly diff't location (believe it's a bit more forward in the Viper assembly). Might want to re-phrase your question a bit, and I surely hope someone has the knowledge to answer.

Re: Calling all LS1 converted trucks.
x2!
My LQ9 will be at the shop tomorrow! Quick question for the 4l60 and 80 guys...were you able to reuse your stock transmission shift linkage? I've got a 700r4 and am thinking about swapping it out for something that will communicate with the ecm. Thanks |
