Re: ls turbo build

I see you used the POL tubular motor mount stands with the LS, how far is the engine sitting (forward/back)? I'm looking to out a LS in my 67 and I currently have those tubular engine stands, wondering which mounting postion brackets I should buy to have your current position

It's actually significantly lighter than a stainless downpipe / exhaust...and it's just badazz.

Looks good.
I'd run the DP further back or out the side, you're going to hate the drone.
What heads are on the motor?
FWIW, mine made ~650 on 8#.

Re: ls turbo build

It has a little bit of an angle facing down and out... if it's to loud I'll put a muffler on it...has 706 heads that have been worked.. kind of went overboard on everything for a bigger and better 427 ls for later.. here's a few picts with most of the ac stuff done..I'm getting close..still need some new valve covers, wires and a few small things..
