Hey Scott... thanks... The main Body color will be the light blue that the frame is painted and it will be Two Toned like the factory with white on the roof and below the moldings... I can't wait to get it home so I can "play" with it... LOL

Re: Project "Class Act"

Great build, what kind of trailing arms did you use? Is the entire suspension ECE?

Thanks

The Trailing Arms, Springs, Shocks, Rear Shock Relocators, and Panhard Bar are ECE... The Front and Rear Disc Brakes, Drop Spindles, Front Swaybar, are CPP

Thanks

Thanks Tommy... it is all starting to slowly come together... Once it gets back here to the house alot of the work will come to a halt while I rebuilt the ole cash supply... This ran me about 2500.00 more than budget... I should have just bought a Miller Welder and done it myself...

Well I was major blindsided by this one... I expected about 800 over and that was manageable but it came in 2500 over... that I am not sure how to come up with the extra 1700... My wife is livid..

LOL Vic... Well the problem is I have been in the body shop business... I also had a company where I actually build Hotrods... We have a real good idea of time and materials for this stuff... so when something like this happens we get a little tense...

Thanks... I knew that I didn't want to go back to the solid white truck... When my Dad first ordered the truck it was ordered as a Light Blue and white so while building it back my way after being stolen I wanted to somewhat stay true to what Dad wanted... Well the factory light blue is okay but I just want to be a little different... so I started looking at car lots and everywhere else I could even paint chips... I actually saw this color on a item so we went to the paint store and looked at the color charts and matched it up... bought a pint of it and brought it home and did a spray out on a spare fender to get a total look of it... I really like it...

thanks again...

You stayed true to your Dad on all things. Wish we could all help with bodywork bill, heck I'd send you a few bucks, so if we all did, there ya go!

Re: Project "Class Act"

Looks nice!

Form personal experience- Al's liner (like Monsta) seems like it's no biggie, lemme tell ya, it's a PITA. Chucked the gun across the yard in victory after I shot the last bit for the second time. From what I've heard, the only one that's semi as advertised is Raptor.

Sorry about the overruns, but it looks great! As least you got what you're paying for! (Don't get me started on Car audio shops. You aren't prepared for that level of Bile-fueled rage.)

Glad it's coming home!

Dan,
I brought that thing home a few hours ago! OK 1.5 Hrs but anyway...
Where are the PICS.
I had to change a flat (before even loading the trailer) to get it home... the least you could do is let me see it on the trailer. LOL

I have a few, maybe we could work a deal on something.

Dan,
All kidding aside... the truck looked great today!
After you lick your wounds the trucks gonna be killer.
I should have washed the truck and trailer for pictures.
There's always next time! Get that thing painted over turkey day break. I'll be expecting some more pics this weekend.
