Every time I read this thread, I keep telling myself this is what I want to do. Build a truck from the ground up with what I want on it, regardless of whether it was made by GM or not. For me it would be all about updating a classic style with modern touches: seats, interior, etc. which brings me to my question. I didn't see the mention of where you got the visors from, they don't look stock, would you mind letting me know were they came from?
Thank you sir.

The visors are from a 91 suburban. The suburbans had lit vanity visors on the passenger side, so when redoing/installing the dash harness I used the suburban so the wiring was already there for them.

Love this truck!

How comfortable are the Odessey seats for a daily driver?

Thanks, I appreciate it

They are def comfortable enough for a daily driver. They are firm like a newer F150 seat though. Some like that, some don't.

I think you also have to take time to mount them right - angle, height etc...

I would've like to put mine a little lower and tipped back but my wife is 5' and I'm 6'2". If I put them where I was comfy she couldn't reach the pedals or see over the dash!

Ask and you shall receive.

No new news lately. Took pics of the RPO sticker on the door. I hope to reproduce it so the old one can be removed for better paint on the Driver front door.

Look like you should relocate your truck to OKC that way it would be in the middle of the U.S. for all crew cab owners to stop and see

Lol...If you would've left me that duramax I would have something to tow it out there with!

Besides you're buying all the crews in the central U.S., so they have to come out to the west coast

Shop's looking nice Mr

Sry if this is a dumb question, but what door mirrors do you have? I've seen those type of door mirrors before but can't remember if they're stock or off something else.

Those mirrors were on 89-91 Suburbans and maybe Blazers. They have a special front window also that goes with them.

Sorry for the slow response, I don't get on here during the weekend usually. It looks like Mr B (345HP87SSAC) got your question answered. They come up on ebay sometimes if you're looking.

That is an amazing truck!

I've been through your build here but I can't find what you have for a transmission and what you have for axle ratio, would love to know cause I'm gathering parts for my build.

In picture 8 is that the stock transfer case indicator? Mine is totally different. I like yours better.

Re: 1991 Crew Cab Short Bed Build

His looks like a shifter for an NP208 or NP241 (1/2 or 3/4 ton). If you have the stock t-case it is an NP205 and yes looks totally different. I doubt you could adapt them as I think the locations for each mode is totally different and light duty one also moves side to side to engage low range.

Don't know if you mentioned it in this thread but...

Where did they get the dash? I've never really been able to find one that looked like OEM. Probably an NOS dash lol.
