Re: Son's 68 c10 Short Bed
You know, the more I see of the red letters on the tailgate, the more I love it! I wish I had something that awesome to drive when I was his age. He must feel like a million bucks cruising down the road in that thing.

Nah - little issues are to be expected when you first finish one, right?

Re: Son's 68 c10 Short Bed
I promise I’ll quit posting pics soon. Anyway, I backed the cars out of the garage today to do some cleaning and thought I’d seize the photo opportunity.

Re: Son's 68 c10 Short Bed
Yes sir, a few weeks earlier than expected. I can’t wait to see it all on there. Kicking around the idea of painting the black stripe in the trim red as well. Once it’s all on there, I’m going to do it with red tape and make the decision then.

Re: Son's 68 c10 Short Bed
Very nice finishing touch. The red would go well with the tailgate letters!

Killer lighting makes for a pretty decent looking truck.

Re: Son's 68 c10 Short Bed
I'm gonna vote for red, ...especially with the tailgate "Chevrolet" in red (which I think looks killer on the truck

Re: Son's 68 c10 Short Bed
We did the stripe in red. The boy loves it. I’m not convinced. I actually think it toned the truck down and made it pop less. It looks better in person than it does in the pics though.

Re: Son's 68 c10 Short Bed
First off, that truck looks amazing. Regarding the red trim....as subtle as it may seem, the red 'pops' even with the hint of red from the calipers

Re: Son's 68 c10 Short Bed
Thanks. My son did an Instagram poll today and the red was winning like 40-8. I guess I’m going to lose this one. 😂
