Re: Surf Blue

A little more progress. I finally picked up some new inner fenders, got them painted, and installed. Still no side windows though hopefully in another week or so I'll have some. Here's some more pics, enjoy.

Re: Surf Blue

did you bolt on those inner fenders with no mods to them at all, and they dont rub? if so, what size front tire you got? the stance is beautiful, just wondering if it rubs the original inner fender from the wheel being pretty tucked in

No mods to the inner fenders at all, other than paint. They don't "rub" ,but when the truck is all the way down the top of the tire touches the bottom of the inner fender. My truck isn't the lowest thing out there, but then again I wasn't going for that. Simplicity and cleanliness is what I was ,and still am after.

Any major paint company should be able to make that color. PPG is what's on my truck though.

Re: Surf Blue

Here's the current project I've been working on for the past few days. I picked up a bench seat for next to nothing on the local Craigslist.(no it's not staying red) As soon as I got it home I started on getting it lowered down to where I wanted it. So I sectioned 2" out of the front ,and 2 1/4" out of the back of the seat brackets. It still has to be bodyworked and painted before it goes off to the upholstery shop , but here's where it's at so far. The material that I'm going to have the seat covered in is kind of edgey. I think people will look at it and either love it or hate it.

I finally got around to ordering new vent windows and side windows as well. Hoping to have them in a day or so. I'll post pics as soon as I get them installed.

I've also been inquiring into getting the rearend narrowed, guess I didn't realize how much that actually cost to have done. Maybe that will be the next big project I get around to. I've called a few different wheel companies to get prices on 20x12 BILLET rims as well ,maybe in Feb. or Mar. I can have the rearend done ,and get some new wheels. Enjoy the pics I'll post more when I get more done.

Re: Surf Blue

Took the road trip to Carrolton. I guess it was worth the drive though it only cost me 30$ for the seat. Getting it recovered is where it's going to cost me.

I'm changing them because they aren't wide enough in the back.
