Re: How about some pics of bagged 60-66
The bed is just some plywood, two pieces, so I can get to the gas and air tank and other components. It is just using some metal strips that were originally there and some that were welded in that the plywood sits on. The plywood has a little clamp that ties them together so they don’t jump out. I am thinking of sanding and clearing the plywood right now it is just untreated. I can post some more pics when I get home.

Posted via Mobile Device[/QUOTE] I just saw your post, they are 50 pontiac tail lights. Thank you! Honestly, I can't take credit for the idea another guy on here had done it to his and I thought it looked awesome so I ordered some from Speedway and put them in. A lot of stuff from speedway is junk but these are actually pretty good quality, they have glass lenses and everything and they also sell the cups to french them in. It was actually pretty easy to install but I still need to figure out my access holes but I'm not worrying about that until I finish up the bags. |

Re: How about some pics of bagged 60-66
Im going to have to block the crap out of the bed because it used to be a long bed. I also put a whole new door skin on the drivers door and made the whole bottom 6-8 Inches of the passenger door "I don't recommend that btw, it was a huge pain in the butt". Ive almos done all the patching and metal work but there is a little still left to do. I just hope it turns out as well as I'm picturing in my head.

Re: How about some pics of bagged 60-66
Dloe65, Do you have any better pictures of how you trimmed your fenders? I need to do that to mine soon and was wondering how did it. Are you keeping the inner fenders? I'm going to try and keep mine but I'm going to have to modify them a lot. Great looking truck btw! I'm painting mine a really dark metallic brown, not many people like brown but I think it looks nice.

Re: How about some pics of bagged 60-66
ahh damn i never thought of that... luckly i really dont need the rear of my truck to go as low as it does right now (the front wont go as low as the back) so i will rethink the size of my lowering blocks... im glad you mentioned that

I was thinking of using porterbuilts tubular arms to clear the frame and mounting my bags similar to yours. I really don't like bags right on top of the axle. Posted via Mobile Device |

Yup. Both door cards and shift boot are made from old pot seed burlap bags.
