Looks good! Have you done any work to your fenders yet? I have some questions like is the brace supposed to make contact with the fender in the front? My fender is bowed there and it is not....

Re: My Pro Street '56 GMC Pick'em Up
Thanks 1Bad62Pro/Street. Well the tail lites I am going to keep the same. I really like what you got in mind for your tail lights but with my bumper I gotta keep it simple. I believe once I get the truck a little lower on all for corners and the orange paint it will enhance the look. A low stance is just mean and it hides a mulitude of sins, lol.

Re: My Pro Street '56 GMC Pick'em Up
I pulled the inner panel completly out and sealed it up from the inside. Now there's no way water and debris can cause rust!

Re: My Pro Street '56 GMC Pick'em Up
I know I haven't posted anything in a long time it's just that so much of the stuff I have been doing wasn't worth taking pictures or even talking about. A lot of small stuff and detail work. This project is taking a lot longer then I thought the more I tore the truck apart the more I found wrong with the body and the more I wanted to change other things. I can see now the bed panels and the custom wheel tubs are going to kick my butt. here are some update pics of the rear cab corners and later some kool trucks I came across when I went to South Carolina recently.

Re: My Pro Street '56 GMC Pick'em Up
Some kool trucks I came across when I went to South Carolina recently. When I arived at the Charleston Airport I spotted this '55 Chevy 4sale. Then 3 days later I'm on the freeway in Charleston and I run across that same '55 Chevy being towed. Wonder if it's being delivered to it's new home. Wish she was coming back to my house LOL. I'll post updates on my cab work later.

Re: My Pro Street '56 GMC Pick'em Up
Thanks 65Pickup for the compliment and encouragement. LOL the more I do the slower things seem to go, I'm envious too, I am getting a lil depressed seeing all these trucks driving around completed and some of these projects on here are out of this world. Unfortunately my wallet dictaes what I can and can't do,

Dang if that tow truck doesn't look like a repo truck.
If it is, the poor guy just lost his ride. |

Re: My Pro Street '56 GMC Pick'em Up
I would like that a lot. Hope the wife and I get the chance to go back we had a great time. Something told me before I left to check on here to see if any of my contacts live in the areas I was going to be. I got tied up and forgot. Saw a few really nice rides at the Low Country Car Club show. I will post a few pics of the trucks I saw. You probably know the guys. One guy is a member on here, but I lost the card I wrote his name on. I'm hoping some one can ID the truck when I post the pics.
