Re: 1966 SBFS project low and go

So ...Question is..

What the heck should I do ...I can't make up my mind anymore..LOL

I currently have on the go...

1) This truck
2) my pro truck set up for blowen Big Block
3) Slammed out 72 was going to put my spare 383 stroker motor with the crossram on it.
4) Milk truck ...no plan yet
5) Low cab forward truck...huge plans for that complicated build.
6)65 short box....thinking dualls with no box just fender covers and a bad a$$ 24 valve i have for it
7) long box in black just kicking around
8) my long box big window with dealer power brakes and a overdrive in it..

Too many trucks and way to much work going on....I have added onto my shop twice this year . I also turned pro and am "Animals Speed shop " you can find me on facebook and see whats going on...I also am a dealer for aluminum Radiators by the way...and now on instagram as animals_speed_shop as well . So you can see i have a ton of stuff going on.

Hey buddy, I've got a solution for you..........

Send the ones that run and drive to me, then you'll have to finish your others so you can drive them?

Hey, it sounded like a feasible idea to me.

KEEP THEM ALL... you only really have one project... thats the one you're working on now. when you get tired of it put it on hold and go to the other one project. ROTATION, one of the secrets of sanity.

"Can't do more that I can do today" Now tomorrow, well thats different, but thats tomorrow.

the pic with the corona bottle... thats also a secret of sanity.

keep after it bro, fun to watch.

Your good......
I haven't been around much and have to get back on the board and see whats going on lol. Yea I am about ready to start a couple of builds for me one of which is the LSA truck on this thread.....I need to get this thing rolling...

I also have a 66 long box big window truck with a bunch of cool options that i need to get going on . It's got rear coils with spring over loads on it / dual tanks/3 on the tree with a factory over drive/custom trim/ V8 .. it's a patina build shop truck kinda thing. Should be a fun " quick " build ....

Re: 1966 SBFS project low and go

So tomorrows job is to get my head back into the build....sit there...look at it...maybe have a beer..... I do know one of the first things i need to decide is order a harness or redo the harness....

I have done LS conversions both ways in the past it's just a matter of what i want to work with what....I still have a bunch of the caddy parts kicking around and i need to know what i want to use on the project as well . I have the gauge cluster....shifter....factory LSA heated and adjustable leather bucket seats....Thinking i will sell the sell the seats i have them bolted in right now but not sure if i like them for this application...

Also trying to decide what i want to run for a radiator...it's going to be aluminum for sure and i am thinking of using a 67-72 cross flow style and hide it down farther. For those of you that don't know I am a dealer of aluminum rads and have about 10,000 part numbers . Do alot of custom LS mods and that kinda thing....

For my Street Hulk I used a 64-66 aluminum radiator with the shrouds and a 16" fan...... I have used a ton of these and sell lots of them....and frankly I think they look great...

Re: 1966 SBFS project low and go

This time around I am thinking of using the 67=72 crossflow style and just fab in new mounts......so it would sit down lower and I could do something differnt on the top of rad support to clean it up...
