Re: Buried to Bagged 1972 2wd
I wish I had more to update on, but time just didn't allow it. Ordered a bead roller and it should be delivered today, you can see my review on it and check out the product.
I have been wanting to do custom fabrication and I suppose this is a start. Borrowed a flange kit from a buddy and tried my hand at making these nifty little holes. Works pretty good, not sure what I would apply it to on my build. My plasma cutter blew up this weekend, literally. It shook the shop!! LOL! Northern Tool took it back and refunded my $$ so I bought this one, it works great! The rest of my weekend was spent trying to get this to look right. I know I have at least 60 hours in this stupid thing, but it didn't look right to me and now it does. And another shot of the time hog.

Re: Buried to Bagged 1972 2wd
I am getting worried about how to do that and make it look correct. Probably have to get some input from a real fabricator to get it right, but that's fine with me, my pride only goes so far!

Re: Buried to Bagged 1972 2wd
It was a refurb unit anyway. I got a nice new one now. My bead roller showed up today so yep, we'll have to come up with some custom parts!!

Re: Buried to Bagged 1972 2wd
Bummer about the plasma cutter. Sounds like you have already replaced it. I would like to get a plasma and bead roller for my shop too. They are valuable tools when it comes to metal work. Your blazer just keeps getting nicer! Are you going to do all the bodywork / paint too?

Got in my bead roller, seems like it's well built. I think I got a hernia lifting the little box....... It is made by Woodward Fab and looks legit!

Re: Buried to Bagged 1972 2wd
No updates for a reason!! I am secretly building secret stuff and trying to keep it secret. Progress has been moving along and there are a couple of things I can share! One of the things is that I am now sponsored by North Side Powdercoating and my frame will be coated at no cost to me!!! He will benefit from this.....trust me. I have already got him 4 other frames to do. And the pics is the second thing I can share!! I have to admit, this is a very time consuming mod right here. It came out really well on the driver side and the passenger side will be done this weekend. I slapped some bondo on the top and sanded it a little just to see what it would look like , more work will be needed.
