Thanks Randy. I hope to keep on keepin' on. I love me some GM truck. I keep bumping up the years I like, but has to be an older one. Did you ever see this one I put together when I lived near Flagstaff. Check out the lug pattern of the spare...lol. I know, I know, but I just had to put something there. I was young & dumb. This was in '81

Re: Steel Wheeled 4x4's??

I just scored a set of nice 15x8 steelies at my swap meet today; $150 for the set of four.

I'm on the fence about putting them on my '62 4x4 when I get started on it... I like the pizza cutters, and have a set of factory 15xNarrow steelies already stripped and painted black... We'll see.

Re: Steel Wheeled 4x4's??

My 1965 3/4 ton factory 4x4. Has a Set of 16.5 factory steelies, wrapped up with some 33" bfg mud terrains. There sporting some 70s hub caps that I scored at the junk yard. It's now my daily driver.

Thanks man! Means alot. I've been terrorizing, I mean driving the truck around the little town I'm in. It turns allot of heads. And old guys tend to ask me about it alot. Hhaha. It's always a joy to drive it around. I'm gearing to change my t case oil to something real thick 180 weight or something. With a handful of saw dust. Might quiet it down a tad.

What size wheels and tires are these? It's exactly the look I'm going for.
