Re: New Project! 67 Extended cab...
I will be going with a cloth headliner, probably in a light color like the new trucks. The seats and carpet will be a dark gray.

Re: New Project! 67 Extended cab...
I got the bed floor all cleaned up, amazing what 40 grit can do to paint and rust. I also got the bumpers all mocked up and my plate on too. The A/C is ready to be charged, get the frotn end lined up and back to paint the reat of the truck.

Re: New Project! 67 Extended cab...
that is such a sweet truck...man I guess whenever I get older and have my own shop and what not I could do it with all the info you have provided. for right now i'm young, married and broke so till the first and last things change I won't be able to do anything as sweet as this...hopefully someday

Re: New Project! 67 Extended cab...
It will all be in paint soon as I finish up and get it to the shop. But right now I don't have to worry about chipping paint.

Re: New Project! 67 Extended cab...
Looks great! Your engine seems much further back than mine but it looks like you used the V8 mount holes. Did you do anything else differently?

Re: New Project! 67 Extended cab...
They are in the V8 position but I used 1978 motor mounts that were modified to fit the frame.

Re: New Project! 67 Extended cab...
I thought I was going to bring it home today but they did not like a few of the areas and decided to wet sand a few areas and it now needs to have color back on it and recleared. It should look good if I ever get it home. maybe I should go for the flat look.

Re: New Project! 67 Extended cab...
Well since I cannot do much right now without the wife getting mad as I am supposed to be resting I thought I would get the truck out so see how it ran. It seemed to do a good job, only have the windshield in at this time, more glass to follow soon. I took the truck to the muffler shop to get the rest of the exhaust done and also got the rims and tires done. I was going to put the chrome wheels on the truck but like the polished ones better.

Good to see the truck in some color. What kind of wheels do you have on the truck - Centerlines?
