Re: Dragndoorhandle
Im rollin 20s homie. Camero thunder is the baller with the 22s. I didnt have to cut the fire wall like an s10. Theres way more to worry about than the fire wall when being doored on 20s or 22s. I still have a booster on my fire wall. I think CT has his under the dash. I did move my motor to the forward holes and couldnt run a HEI. and theres a ton of other mods you have to do. Nate from porterbuilt solved alot of them with his drop member. He was just comming out with it when I was doing my truck. Buy it if you can. That thing is sick! saves a ton of time and looks smooth as hell. One thing I wish Nate would build is a set of hood hinges for the 67-72. Its a ***** to get thoes junk sasche rod hinges to work. Other than that good luck with your build.

Re: Dragndoorhandle
sorry 7 thought you were on 22's. also for the front i will defiantly be buying the dropmember when i do it. its has all the positives with no real negatives besides the drive shaft in my eyes but thats not a big deal at all. i was just wondering about the firewall. i'll deal with all the other issues as they arrive.

Re: Dragndoorhandle
Truck got final blocked the other day. Now it should be painted by the end of the month. Hes going to do a test panel of the soft touch clear for the interior and ship it to me to see if I like it. Other than that just waiting until its done.

Re: Dragndoorhandle
Yea, the painter is going to decide the color. Hes giving me a smookin deal on the hole job so as long as it dont come back pink it dosent matter to me. Volker paints alot of high end rides and I trust him. Ive know him well over 15yrs so it dont bother me to not know. BUT he did tell me yesterday it was going to be black with a tanish/orange interior with the soft touch AKA suede clear over it and the engine bay is a dark gray satin. The seat is already covered in leather and a small bit of ostrage. Interior guy also called last night to email some designs on the door panels and the airbrush work on the air cleaner valve covers and sill plates should be done to. All Im really waiting for is Curt from PRO RIDES to get it and put the stero in it and also build a console around the shifter. Ill post some pics when it gets some color on it.
