Re: The GSFMech Build

Hi Mike, yeah it was great hanging out with you guys as well we had an awesome time. Glad to hear it was not too much wrong with your truck I know you were worried. It was really cool getting to see your truck in person and we are ready to do it again.......don't remember the beer part, it was pretty fuzzy at that point LOL. We are going to be back out at the speedway next week for the Pate swap meet, are you making this one?

Re: The GSFMech Build

I believe this is the combo Mike has, it amounts to around a 4/8 drop.

ECE 4/6 drop w/ 2" blocks and C-notch, 18/20"Coys
18 x 8 on the front with 4.5” Backspace. Tires are 235-55-18
Rear is 20 x 10 with 5.5” backspace. Tires are 295-45-20

Re: The GSFMech Build

Thanks guys for the kind words. I've actually done a lot to it since I posted last. I had an air cleaner stud snap off just above the carb and the motor ate it. So I had to build a new motor. While I had it out I pulled the front clip and dealt with a few things I didn't like. I had some issues with the firewall so I stripped and repainted it and I used the Eastwood urethane on my core support and inner fenders. This had more of a satin look and looks much better. I used an undercover innovations panel on for the front. My buddy Chris (Bowtie468) powder coated all my pulleys and brackets. It really cleaned it up under the hood. Sorry but these are the best pics I have of it.

Truck looks great!!! I'm glad to see someone with 295/45-20 tires in the rear because that's what I'm wanting to run. I like a little more sidewall. Your buckets look awesome too..
