Is it rusted all the way thru? Or thin metal? Alot of that a wire brush should take care of. Good luck! Why ya stripping it down?

There looks like one spot that it is rusted through, but not a large area, most of it looks to be surface rust. I am stripping it because it leaks water everywhere, wanting to fix that. And I have had the truck 2 1/2 years and it is time to redo it.

Why did you take the dash out?.....Are you putting a different one in?.....Or just to access some bad spots?.....Looking good.....looks like a solid cab!....

Dash came out to fix some rust under the dash area and clean up the ends of the dash, they are pretty rusty. Other than the common minor rust, it is in very good condition. I am very happy with it.

Removed the front springs last night. Wanting to get an idea how low it sits and how much lower I need to go.

Definitely needing some drop spindles and a c-notch. Looks like it's time to roll her outside to clean the garage.

Bobbo, if you're interested, I think Mathew has a complete a/c dash he's trying to sell pretty cheap. It would look good in your cab.

No you don't. Just put the a/c vents in the holes and use your old heater stuff. Then someday when you decide you want a/c, the dash is already installed. You won't have to jack with it.
