Re: My 1972 chevy c10 father/son build
It had 3 different size motors in it. 1-327, 1-350, and 2-305's. Tranny was a th350. Rear was a posi.
It had a propane set up too when I got it but after I polished off that first 327 I did away with it. |

Re: My 1972 chevy c10 father/son build
Well the truck is at vo tech right now, its not ready yet but so far the white top and paint and all the bondo on the bed is gone and i pulled the the dents out of the cab, started on the bed, shaved the emblem holes, hood tailgate and bumper are off and its about ready to prime and im going to be painting it gloss black, My plans now are, tint the windows(limo), maybe some black coys or something and finish lowering it.
On the motor well the day already sucked enough, i decided to drive my truck down to vo tech so i can finish it, the first part to suck was my window was frozen, it was freezing outside, my air fan switch is broke so my heater and defrost didnt work so i got on the turnpike and my windshield keep freezing over and i had to stop like 5 times in just 4 miles to scrape my winshield, and i forgot to say it was really foggy this morning and i guess somebody wrecked so traffic was competly stopped and i took the backroads that i've never really been down and my vo tech is almost a hour away. i was in the middle of knowhere and didnt know where i was and i ran out of gas and i thought my friend said he was gonna come get me but he wasnt lol and i fell asleep for like a hour in my truck and i think it was like 20 degrees that morning it sucked lol then some lady stopped and took me to the gas station and got gas then i started back to school even though it was almost over, then i was about less than half a mile from my school then my motor made and weird noise and died and i pulled over and it was smoking really bad and making alot noises im pretty sure it blew a piston but when i was sitting there some guy in a blue 72 i think pulled and said something about my truck and asked if i needed any help so he just followed me back to vo tech but my dad turned my truck into the insurance and they sent him a $700 check in the mail and he said i can put into a motor or fix my front end so im just going to buy a motor then put my new cam and stuff in it and get a salvage yard hood and stuff |
