on this particular combo it was timing...rob was ready to buy "now", so it wasnt to bad finding the combo, but got real lucky to find such a low mileage engine...we were literally about 15hrs to late on getting a 5.7 LS1, we had at the shop...the thing is when a good deal comes along you have to pounce on it, cause if you dont the next guy will, and rob was ready.

a bit of an update, the engine/tranny are completed.... the wiring is finished...computer is tuned...only thing left to do is fab a gas pedal mount, and mod the pedal to fit in the stock location...here are a few pics, sorry bout the garage being a mess, i got like 500 boxes in the past couple of weeks...

thanks everyone, im hopeing to get this bad boy shipped late this week/early next week. i got the pallet for it, and just need to get some plywood to make a nice 'temporary' home for it. and i too am very excited to see it installed and running/driving...

Well motor will be here on the 31st so looks like I will be spending new years installing it body is out for paint so just been working on the frame getting brakes ran, and installing my wheels I have decided to run the boss 338 wheels.... I did not have issues with diameter of front hub but I did have to space for the cap to fit spacer or not I think they look great.
