I wish I could say a finished the box but I've been distracted with other projects from sleds to cars and life in general. . I will get back on it one of these days but I use it on a regular basis to go to the dump and plow the driveway.

This is my latest distraction. A triple black original # matching 1970 SS454 Monte from AZ.

nice progress, my 68 is still in the same shape as before as I got my 74 K5 done, the 74 K20 96% done (see my posts thru my profile) and now Ive started a 68 K1500 with the 305 V6.... i have more projects than time.. not to mention scoring a solid 77 el camino (nose swapped to a 73).. of late I got back to my 73 K2500 Burb .
Looking good man.. my email wasnt forwarding updates for over a year....
Ironic you sent me that 68 trim and now u are contemplating it....
Im in need of a decent Drivers side front fender for the 68 GMC... you save anything from the old yellow heap?

Wow sounds like you have been busy! Not much left of the gmc. It made a great parts truck and lives on as I used and sold a bunch of parts.

Red and white two tone with cab lights and a step bumper, pretty much exactly how my truck rolled off of the assembly line. Great build, I can't wait to see it done!

I was thinking of this project recently, get that bed painted yet? We Got almost a foot of snow here on the east end of Long Island this weekend, not sure how much Albany ended up with. I was looking at my half-finished '72 in the garage and thinking how nice it would be to have a fisher minute-mount hooked up to it. On the other hand, the Duramax trucks I use for work are probably far more comfortable....

Heck no it's not painted. I wish I could dedicate the time to it but I do use the truck as intended. We got a couple 1' plus snow storms and used it to plow and it does a great job. This winter is actually a winter so far and if it keeps up the k10 will keep pushing the snow.

It's been a while since I updated this thread. Hope to finish painting the box this summer.

Forgot I made this YouTube video.
