Got the rear end re-installed and all new seals put in and and it is ready to go

I agree the truck with bed will drop more, your frame will hit I used a 1/4 inch thick 4 inch pipe that I cut in half with KYB shocks (67 Ford Econoline Van), I am using stock springs I had four of my portly buddies jump on make go up and down and it did not bottom out.

OK, so I have a question about c-notching the frame for rear end clearance. I have a 55 Suburban and with the body on the frame and a lot of parts inside I have 2 1/2" clearance between the top of the rear axle tube to the bottom of the frame rail. Do you guys think I am going to need to notch the frame?

Got a new bumper for free got the brake lines finished just need to get them bled. Had to fix strip threads for the headers. First pic is the striped threads. second pic is them drilled out. Third pic is the counter bore.

Thanks Kim. They are supposed to be stronger the a helicoil. I used them to fix one of the transmission mount bolts too. They work great.

i had bed liner sprayed under my cab and fenders: cab for sound and fenders for rocks

Well I put on the first coat sound control and it was easy to put on and clean up. I will be putting on the Ceramic Insulation tomorrow.
