Thanks Kim. I can't wait for it to be on the road. I need the weather to cooperate so I can get some body work done.

Re: 55 2nd series
no c-notch? you will hit the frame constantly.
i will ride very rough, possibly break things. we have the same basic rear suspension mine hits even now with a c-notch and air shocks

Re: 55 2nd series
I agree the truck with bed will drop more, your frame will hit I used a 1/4 inch thick 4 inch pipe that I cut in half with KYB shocks (67 Ford Econoline Van), I am using stock springs I had four of my portly buddies jump on make go up and down and it did not bottom out.

Re: 55 2nd series
OK, so I have a question about c-notching the frame for rear end clearance. I have a 55 Suburban and with the body on the frame and a lot of parts inside I have 2 1/2" clearance between the top of the rear axle tube to the bottom of the frame rail. Do you guys think I am going to need to notch the frame?

Thanks Kim. They are supposed to be stronger the a helicoil. I used them to fix one of the transmission mount bolts too. They work great.
