Re: "Outkast"
Did you make Good Guys? There were some stunning trucks out there. There was a black and beige 55 that was beautiful.

Re: "Outkast"
I didn't make it to Goodguys this time. Truck still isn't ready, if it's not one thing it's another. It should be at the Street Trucks booth at Autorama in Houston for Thanksgiving. They have until then to finish it or it's going to someone who can.

Hope they get it finished. Wonder why it's taking them so long.

Re: "Outkast"
I wish I knew man. The pics I have from March show pretty much how it looks now, 6 months later. I'm sure insurance jobs are slowing it down but damn, pretty much not touching it for 6 months is unacceptable.

Re: "Outkast"
I agree. Especially when you gave them deadlines you wanted met. Sorry to hear that man. Hopefully your next project, "Badfinger", won't go thru the same thing.

Re: "Outkast"
Yeah the next one definitely won't have the same thing happen. I'm either going to find someone closer to my house so I can check on it weekly or find a shop that doesn't do insurance jobs only custom work. I've got a referral from a member on here that I'm going to check out, either for "Badfinger" or to finish this one.

Re: "Outkast"
Locke the gauges are Classic Instruments, I ordered them off their website
SuperFly if you don't mind me asking, where did you get the driveshaft from? I know Denny's makes a 700hp shaft and one shaft above that, just not sure if they offer them in 2 piece or not

Re: "Outkast"
Another one caught in paint jail. Sucks all the fun out of a build. Did you give them money up front?

Re: "Outkast"
Zoomin we broke it down in to stages, they get paid a little after body work, a little after paint and then the rest after it's put together

Re: "Outkast"
Any updates on this thing? Also what are the tire specs? I know you've got 22s all the way around but I didn't see any previous comments on the tires

Re: "Outkast"
Dude sorry to hear the problems you are having. I contacted them about some sheetmetal work and told them I saw your truck on the forum. I never went by to meet with them. LOL

Re: "Outkast"
They offer them in two piece. I had one built right here in sacramento but I was not that happy with it so I would go with Dennys

Re: "Outkast"
If I were you I would demand a date in writing from the shop give them say 2 more months to finish the truck or pull it from there shop. I had this happen to me with second chance and I had to ram my foot down there a$$ for them to finish the truck. They don't call it paint shop prison for nothing

Re: "Outkast"
I wish. Been having some trouble getting parts from certain sources to button everything up. It's the little things that are killing me now. Since this is my first C10 build, I didn't realize what all I would need ahead of time and forgot to get a lot of the little things. It should be going to get the trim airbrushed on soon and all that will be left is to button up the stereo. I'll know next time and hopefully will remember to get all my parts lined up before I get to past the point where they are needed.

Re: "Outkast"
Totally forgot to update this. Here are a few newer ones. Wiring is pretty much done, have to do a little finishing on the inside of the bed, outside of the bed is ready for paint, airbrush the trim on and button up the stereo.
