My mom always had the best advice. It was just a tad late. After a fall that involved blood, she'd say....."Careful!"

I did a frame off on this truck in 1989. This pic was taken recently, with about 35,000 miles on the resto.

Haha thank you, the picture doesn't do much justice but the valve covers are carbon fiber.

Here's a little update from an earlier post (#195).

Just a few more mods after exterior paint.
More "clean up" to come.

I like how clean and all original looking yours is under the hood. It looks as if it just rolled off the factory showroom floor. There are a lot of great looking engine bays! IMO one of the hardest parts of a vehicle to keep clean because it's exposed to all the elements while driving. Not to mention where all the fluids & hoses/lines are that carries your oil, gasoline, PS fluid, antifreeze, wiper fluid, brake fluid & AT fluid that manages to leak at one point or another & messes up a perfect Mr Clean job. Just to spoil this party, ugly kid Jake will show mine in it's barn find state. It's in the works to get it cleaned up & painted one of these days. This is an older pic, I have since installed the correct air cleaner so the lid sits down like its suppose to. I guess the PO threw in whatever air cleaner he had laying around.

These are looking great! It's great seeing all the different types of dual snorkel air cleaners. I need to either build me one or just buy me one. I'm sure they flow better air than just a single snout air cleaner.
