upon further investigation it appears the whole floor has rusted and separated from the bottom up to the firewall.

It's tough when you're chasing rust. However, your cab looks better than the tub in my blazer.

I think your right man. I'm really having to weigh the options here.

We need to run out to Blarklays and see what we can find.

Don't forget there is a swapmeet in Decatur this weekend Sept. 16~18.

Ew. Had a few surprises like that on mine. Hack through it and get back to the fun stuff. Feels good when all of the cancer is gone.

Re: In the beginning there was a 69 party (eyebrows up)

Found a replacement cab!!! Will be moving the project to a hanger over the next week or so. My boss will be letting me use 500 sq.ft. in the corner of one of his hangers to finish up this beast! Excited to get everything moved, have more space and get back to it.

Will also finally have room to work on my GF's 1967 mustang. Its her first car. It was her daily driver when I met her 7 years ago. We ended up putting it in storage 5 years ago for a reliable car. She's been on me about it since I started the C10 project (my first vehicle was a 1970 C10 SWB).

Sounds like a good plan. Got pics of new cab vs. old cab? Don't forget the spray paint.

I could not believe that when I opened the door, the light dash light came on... This car has been sitting in storage un-moved for 5 years. All the tires still had air too. She's a trooper!

Re: In the beginning there was a 69 party (eyebrows up)

also bought a project set up for my dad and I to do together.

We'll be putting this 1950 GMC on the 1998 S10 bagged chassis that lays frame. The GMC is all there and in great shape. I stole the 50' for $500.00

Excited to get started on this project this winter.

Let me know if you need any help.

I have your uncle Steve looking for you a 16' trailer. He has a "contact" who he can get them cheap from, or at least the past two years he has.

Guess you won't be seeing the gf much for a while. That is alot of projects, but should be fun having options to work on. I've always loved mustangs also. You can post that build thread on the alternate tinkerings board here.
