Went to an early fireworks display in Stedman NC last night and they had a couple of antiques there so I snapped pics of the 3 I saw.

A great looking old chevy truck and a 1930 and 1931 Ford Model A's (the 31 is on the right with the whitewalls).

Thought I'd share the pics

Went to look at a used car for my sister, which didn't work out, but guy had some nice finds on his property. 1st pic is his 62 Impala, 1940 chevy and a 41 buick with the factory straight 8 and 2 -2bbl manifold. Says he doesn't drive them, just starts them up and moves them around the property. Shame since they are such nice cars.

This is the craziest write up I've ever seen about a couple of cool cars and a seller who turns crazy painting a car and its windows and then killing a family member following the paint job? lol It's amazing who our neighbors can be sometimes..... Stay safe out there!

I agree.....hard to tell how extensive the damage is off the 2-3 pics posted and I've never seen the truck locally before either.

was heading home from work in the a.m. yesterday and saw this 63. Came back a few hours later with Austin and stopped for a few pics. There is a lot of body work under this pretty paint job. You can see plenty of rot on the inner hood panels just looking through the fence that was just painted over. I imagine that its like most of the other southern hoods. Nice truck though, just scary of what the paint hides.

Couple more I've found around town in the last couple weeks. The fleetside been behind this exhaust shop for probably 15 years that I know of.

The 62 pictured below has a 64-66 grill and was next to truck bedliner shop just haven gotten the bed sprayed. I stopped and talked to the shop owner who didn't want me taken any pics (which I took 1 anyways once back in my truck), but did say it was a clients truck from two towns over. And he charged him $1200 for the bedliner.......?

Since prior posts include other years besides 60-66, I'll throw these pics up. Found them this week but have not seen them in person. These are in SC and need to be saved. First one has open title, IFS and rack steering. Others have no title but IIRC, it's not hard to get a title in SC. Owner says he has all the parts missing in the pics.

Was a bare bones truck. Kept original minus color and rims. I left a card for the store owner to pass to the truck owner and he did say he'd pass it on. Told him I could help find the 63 grill and caps if he was interested.

Its actually a really dark green TJ. Was kinda overcast when I took the pic. So dark it almost looks black though.

Got a cryptic message from a 2nd gen buddy in town that he saw a 60-66 for sale out in the country about 20 min away. Not much info, just a general location, so Austin and I went on a treasure hunt after some breakfast to see if we could locate the truck.

30 min later we passed this 64 off the side of the road and pulled in. Owner was home and truck was for sale. He's asking $2200. This 64 unfortunately is not salvageable without a lot of time and money. Rust and cancer has gotten ahold of every body panel in the truck if the dents haven't. There is a 12" hole inside the cab where the rear view mirror is supposed to go and the VIN plates and Data plates are missing from the cab although the owner says it has a clear title........

Comes with 2" of dead wasps, steel bed floor and all the trash in the bed.

Has a 400hp sb400 according to the owner....which I bet runs great off that ol 2bbl under the hood. Hasn't moved since 1997. Was nice to look at, but around $2000 more than I'd want to put into it. Anyways....posting a few pics we took. The pics make it look way better than it was in person. Rust has set in real bad.

With the tires being sunk in the dirt and from your description, it looks like the truck is trying to bury itself. LOL!
