Re: '70 GMC SWB Money Hole
Congrats on the new truck and hope you get what you're asking for your old truck. I'd definitely post it on eBay...that's where the ridiculous prices have been lately for trucks with "patina" You can do a free classifieds with them or pay a bit and have a reserve...

Re: '70 GMC SWB Money Hole
^^^ I thought about eBay, but I figured I'd try here 1st. I'd like someone who can appreciate all the hard work that's already been done and wants a driver project. I'll give it a couple of days then make that leap.
Thanks |

Re: '70 GMC SWB Money Hole
Well, I got "Walt" today and after talking with the wife... I'm keeping Booger too. I'll be turning Booger into a '67 gmc with all the extra parts I have. I'll be fixing the few rusty spots on the cab, bolting up all the new fenders, core support, hood, grill, bedsides, doors, etc and squirting some paint. I'll be rewiring it too... I have an extra painless harness for Booger.

Re: '70 GMC SWB Money Hole
I did go ahead and buy a set of 15x8" Eagle 111's with grey centers to go on here. I'm hoping the heat here will subside soon so I can get these trucks back on the front burner. 3 project trucks plus the '74 Bronco are a lot of projects for 1 guy . Okay, pity party are over

Pallet of PB goodies headed my way via Fastenal, including a set of frame rails (there wrapped up separately off to the side)

Re: '70 GMC SWB Money Hole
You have a good wife there son!!!!! There is no way in hell my wife would let me keep two trucks at once!!! She just bought me a shop sign for Christmas that says" what happens in the garage stays in the garage". I guess that is a big hint to remove all of the truck parts I have stored in our finished basement. Do you think I am going to keep a set of factory bucket seats and factory brackets, in my garage?? I keep all of the good stuff out of public view. If it's seen, there is a good chance she will be after me to sell it!!!! I have an dealer replacement 402 BBC out of a 69-70 Vette that I have stashed under my workbench that no one knows about except my Dad

I actually have 4 67-72 trucks , a 93 Mustang LX convertible, and a 74 Bronco ... I'd like to have those bucket seats, how can I get in touch with your wife and get that fire lit I'm ready to get this thing started too. I'm going to blame the lack of enthusiasm on the weather and abscense of dry work space... I made a step towards rectifying the dry work space today. I have a group coming to pour the footings and foundation for my new shop building here at the house. |

Re: '70 GMC SWB Money Hole
HAHA...........she saw a picture of them the day I brought them home. I guess she tacitly approves of them (as long as they are not in the house). I will keep my eye on for you if you are in need of a set. I run into them about very two months or so. I found an almost perfect set out of a 72' K5 about (2) months ago for $200. Missed out on them due to some bills that needed to be paid......
