But if its all the same, I had just as soon have my $$ back as well, I've written off getting the grill from HMC and bought another from a board member and dont need 2 if Duane does have intentions of sending it. $125 refund would be simpler for the both of us.

Any updates from any you members that he owes parts or money too? I haven't heard anything form Attorney General, I think I'll give them a call next week for an update

I haven't heard or received anything and in all honesty I don't think I ever will. I will just cut my losses and move on since I'm not out much but it's all the principle of the matter. Hope everyone else is able to resolve their situation or come to terms with this whole ordeal.

No. He sent me a text later asking me for my address and I sent a response but noticed later my text didn't go through...re-sent it and never got a response.

I think just me, I'm still waiting on Attorney Generals office to get back with me, I called them 2 weels ago and she never got back with me. If I were the other members that he stuck they ought to filing claims against him

The shipper sold it to collections, so the shipper won't talk to me about it. I told collections they were only to talk to me not to my employer, then once I got Attorney General involved the collections won't talk to me only to Attorney General. Now the Attorney General gal has not got back with me, I left her a message 2 weeks ago. I guess I will try her this week again. The Attorney General has had it since Sept 14th. Duane still has NEVER paid anything for shipping doors, HE KNOWS THIS!!! That is a THIEF!!! He can act and talk like he is straight up but he isn't. He never tried to fix this, that is why it has gone this far

Randy, don't get discouraged and give up with the AG's office. Remember the squeaky wheel is the one that gets the grease. Keep after them and document all emails, phone calls and other pertinent information dealing with this situation. Man, I can't believe how lucky I was in my dealings with the TH350/np205 shipment from Nevada. Hang in there, hope this gets some resoulution for you quickly.

i dont see this loss as no biggie even at 300 dollars that is a large ammount of money to me i do not make alot of money due to health issues id rather not discuss so any loss of money is not easy to replace and certainly isnt an easy pill to swallow

that being said also being in canada and hearing impaired with noone to make a call for me makes it difficult to contact him or local authorities, i do hope everyone gets their money and parts especially in randys case, if everyone could come together and make this happen would be awesome

tim im not writing this to start an arguement with you your a good guy, i just wanted to explain my situation and to me when options are limited to what you can do all you can do is take it as a lesson learned

Rany, Will the Kansas AG take up the problem with the AG in Indiana? Maybe some "local" pressure from authorities will make an impression on him. Interstate faud is fraud no matter what state it originates from. Perhaps contact the Vevay, Indiana Police Department? Just hate to see this go on. I was just SO very lucky/fortunate for my one and only transaction with him.
Hope this gets resolved for everyone involved.

Thats what I'm going to do, I would like to know EVERYONE who he still owes parts/money too so I can all info when I do call the Indiana Attorney General on him. I have not read thru the entire post but I know several have been having problems. I was checking out Craigslist and found an ad that I THINK is HeavyMetalChevy (same town and simial discription). I used to see his ads often but I have not seen any for a while and this one just came up. It has a phone number in it so maybe that will help someone.
