Re: New to me 72 Sub
Sorry to hear that. I had a couple of vehicles damaged by hail one time and had PDR done and you could never tell there was any damage. Good luck!

Re: New to me 72 Sub
It looks like the PDR guy can handle my Sub. My Rover didn't fair so well. You have to love the old quality metal.
After the storm in Oklahoma today, I know I don't have any real problems. God bless the folks there. Posted via Mobile Device

Re: New to me 72 Sub
That is great news. I find it interesting that you could paint the burb anytime you wanted and yet you chose to keep the patina.

Props for keeping the patina, I had my rust painted back on my new panels after replacing them.

Sweet ride. Glad I came across this build. I've been off the forum since I sold my 67 swb in 2012.

Re: New to me 72 Sub
I would love an update on this.
This is one that I wish I never would have sold. I still remember the first time laying eyes on it as the owner drove me out to his property and there it was sitting where it had sat for many years untouched. |

Re: New to me 72 Sub
I wanted to give a quick update on this. My burb had to be sold during a nasty divorce and is still in my town. I'm trying to track it down, but not having much luck with the current owner. It was sold out from under me for $5K.
I'm pondering buying a blue and white one to start over with. Sad ending to a good build. I still have all three seats and new interior in my garage holding out. Last edited by Klmor; 05-21-2017 at 07:11 PM. |

That's a real bummer!! Hope you are able to find another one. I stopped looking myself. I sold this one, and I know I'll never get another one like it. But maybe one will cross paths with me like this one did, when I wasn't looking. Posted via Mobile Device |

Re: New to me 72 Sub
Damn. I saw it on that local shop's IG feed, then that it was sold... bummed me out a bit. Wish I'd bought it for $5k, so I could sell it back to you!
