Have you at least found someone to loan you the money to buy it, if it is in fact the truck? This whole thread will be a moot point if after all the searching you find it and don't have the means to purchase it. You say just knowing where it is will be enough, but in all honesty it will be worse, since you'll know it's whereabouts, and the fact that someone is going to change it more than they already have. Get your ducks in a row, have the cash on hand and if and when you find it, buy it, don't hesitate, hesitation leads to regret.

Seems to be a double standard, but I have a bad mouth at times too. I just try to keep it clean on on here.

I guess I had a bad taste in my mouth from the get go because as a law enforcement official myself, I didn't think it was appropriate to say that officers are running the VIN for you. There's certain privacy laws with that and just don't think that you should have put that on a public forum throwing those guys under the bus.

I do hope you find it and get it restored to "your" liking and no one else's.

I like the 59 too, ive always been a fan of chevy truck built before 87, which are all older than me lol but ecerything built after that doesnt have the lines these old thrucks did they are too smooth
