Re: Restored Vent Windows
Then I think I can restore them. I have access to the W/S, new glass and knobs. I will have the black powder coated so it will hold up. Does this sound like what you are interested in doing? If so send them.

Re: Restored Vent Windows
Send it all. What ever I can use will just save you some money. I use reproduction W/S. It's just as good as OEM. I think its softer.

Re: Restored Vent Windows
I'm curious what materials were used for this set, and if the tint is "factory"?
I still have your response for restoring mine, but just thought to ask. Still haven't pulled mine yet. Hopefully I will within the next 4-5 months.

Re: Restored Vent Windows
The tint is factory. The W/S is Chevy Duty/Classic Parts. Its the only one that I've found that fits.

Re: Restored Vent Windows
They usually run $460.00 to rebuild your set. Depends on condition.

Re: Restored Vent Windows
Hi Roger I'm interested in a chrome set for my 67. I would also like them to be with a factory tint but, my doors glass are not tinted and I would like them to match. I was wondering if I can get matching door glass .
Thanks Nick |
