I installed my new HEI today with much satisfaction! The popping is pretty much gone now, and the truck has never run smoother or accelerated quicker then before! New set of plugs and we should be good to roll!

Well ya'all..here's a picture...I am using Napa premium 8 mm wires. The HEI is from Speed Master off ebay. Thing works awesome! Hope to get some videos in a few weeks.

Small update. I loomed up the wiring a little for a cleaner look as well as heat guard. Also polished my air cleaner.

So I went and used my truck today...Couple cold cranks and she fired right off. When hot..takes only 1/2 a crank. The new HEI makes a heck of a difference...pulled my plugs for an exam...and we are running just a tad hot. Might need to go a step cooler...but I think as long as I'm running 92 octane I should be good...runs like a dream...now time for some nitrous!
