Ya his truck has power brakes, but he has already determined that the booster is good.

Yeah the power brake situation was brought up several times over several times. lol Seemed to be the only "logical" explanation after several other attempts that had been made.

Yea I was definitely sold on the brake booster too... sounded too easy due to the vac issue....

The other thing that could also be the same type of problem with a diaphragm and vac issue is the trans modulator.... maybe it has failed and is losing vacuum on accel like a brake booster or is doing something totally funky to the trans on accel.

Try changing it, they are a cheap part compared to a carb.
