48 GMC with the 9' bed. $2500.
https://portland.craigslist.org/clk/...737299021.html This is a rare find a 1948 GMC 1 ton pickup with a factory 9ft bed. Truck is super solid with good floors little rot in the corners but not bad, it is missing the motor and trans has a pto running out back. It is missing the tailgate but does have a good title. Call with any questions thanks and have a great day.

That's a whole lot off the top. Way too much to be practical if you actually plan to drive it any distances. That and a guy would have to mount the engine under the be to be able to sit low enough to clear the top.

That's probably why he's including a spare roof in the sale!

Re: Post your C/L finds for everyone to enjoy!
I bought this last week for $6,000. I put new tires on it, had to replace the gas tank. and worked on the brakes. It is a '54 6100 with dump bed. Has less than 40,000 original miles (it can be documented, it was originally owned by a local school district).

Facebook rather than Craigslist but if someone in the PNW is looking for a TF big window this might be a candidate https://www.facebook.com/marketplace...02898517217448
I'm thinking that it is a 58 or 59 rather than a 56 though

That COE truck for $700 looks like a great deal if you want one. Yea it needs a lot of work but it's cheap.
