Re: How about some pics of '73-'87 Short Beds
Yeah, yeah, yeah....... I would like to go another inch in the rear and 2 in the front, but I need to swap the oil pan before I go much lower in the front though:

Re: How about some pics of '73-'87 Short Beds
This is me and dads. We bought it, but are good friends with the group of people that built it.
Has a hard running 434 big block (454 w/ 396 crank) it's built for mud drags, definitely not street use (race fuel is expensive)

This is my bosses truck 1978 Big 10
34000 miles, factory buckets and tach, dealer installed car 4-speed. and NO RUST, haha Even though the truck is in excellent condition, we are doing a frame off. we will be doing a frame swap because my boss wants it to be 4wd. here is the frame we picked up from the sandblasting place today, its a 79 |

Re: How about some pics of '73-'87 Short Beds
Great looker 95S ...... IMO ..... I think I would have found another to do a 4X4 resto on & leftthe original ....... original. But that's why so many trucks don't look like the new jelly beans off the line.
Good start .... good luck. RATTY 46 |

Re: How about some pics of '73-'87 Short Beds
I kinda feel that way too, but its not my truck and its not my money, the truck will look the same, we are only restoring the frame and running gear and drive train, the body will be left alone,
itll be kinda cool though, the only Big 10 4wd |
