Re: Finally "Silvers" build thread!! ('78 swb 2wd silverado)
if he does.....I think something along the lines of how the '77 trim was painted...would be a great "accent" to that paint color.

Re: Finally "Silvers" build thread!! ('78 swb 2wd silverado)
thanks guys!! yes i'm keeping the trim i was thinking about having the painter either painting body color in there or the interior(tan) color or just no color. idk yet. after she's all together i'll have a better idea.

Re: Finally "Silvers" build thread!! ('78 swb 2wd silverado)
Not sure how it would look but if you are going with Tan interior, I would match that color on the stripe instead of body color.

Re: Finally "Silvers" build thread!! ('78 swb 2wd silverado)
sorry guys! this time of year the priorities change around for me... work, family, and more work. i went crazy on my truck credit card this last summer and im paying it down. almost flush again i'll get back on Silver sometime next month
btw, i did get something VERY cool from Amy today for my birthday.... a silverado key chain with custom engraving on the back that says "in loving memory of Ted Smiley". (my grandpa) it actually brought tears to my eyes. i cant believe she remembered thats what im having painted on the tailgate. i'll get the pics of it up soon.

I just read through all ninety pages of this thread.
Menace, you are doing an amazing job on this project. And for what it is worth, I have ADD and something REALLY has to catch my attention to spend the time it took for me to follow the progress in one sitting. |
