Re: How about some pics of 73-87 Long Beds?
Hi, no, its a normal old finnish N- series plate that was given to american cars back in 80´s and 90´s. Its shorter than usual finnish plate to fit to its place, usually in finland plates have 6 marks.

Re: How about some pics of 73-87 Long Beds?
I don't have any interior pics, here are some of the motor. It has just been totally rebuilt, and I put the 700R4 in it to make it easier on the motor not turning as many RPM's more than the fuel mileage. The mileage is probably no better than 10 mpg. It's got a 4:56 gear in it. And it's also got a factory tach, thats a pretty rare option if ya ask me!

http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/i...attach/jpg.gif 1977 Out of AR. Tail gate, doors entire ft clip is NOS GM sheet metal. It is currently tore down to redo one last time. Sectioned (1 1/2") front cross member, narrowed lower control arms, 3" dropped spindles, 2" coil drop, 455 Olds 400 Turbo, narrowed 9" by Moser Eng. leaf springs moved in board. Tach dash is being added. The pix is long ago. Drove this everyday except dead of winter (snow) and avoided rainy days mainly of the other drivers. Yes, the rear tires make wet roads extremely skittish. Pay attention, slow up and your fine.

Re: How about some pics of 73-87 Long Beds?
Hi Juiceman. Your truck looks great. I am probably biased but I think that if you're going with 15" rims, you can't go wrong with a set of Torque Thrusts for a tough "period" look. Along with the factory ralleys they always look good on our trucks. It looks great as it is but do you have any plans to lower it?

First I'm working on cleaning up the motor/trans and interior. I bought it on a snowy day and didn't really get an opportunity to go through it before laying down the cash. I got quite a few fluid leaks that need addressed first. |

Re: How about some pics of 73-87 Long Beds?
Heres my 85 K10 Silverado, started life out with a 305/700r4, my uncle bought it almost 20 years ago and it had a worn out 400 and the 700 was on its last legs. He and his friend rebuilt the motor with all the latest performance parts of the 90s and put a turbo 350 behind the 400. This truck was my first vehicle and a year into driving we put another used(big mistake learned twice) 700r to try and save gas, I blew 3rd and 4th gear one day and this past Christmas blew up the other 700r. I'm planning to restore this truck in honor of my Grandpa who passed last week. This truck was always his favorite. I plan of putting a standard tranny(tired of junkomatics) and lifting it just to put 35's, repaint and put all new chrome trim and cab trim on it. But being a broke college student I will restore it piece by piece. I have my 91 sport 4x4 for my DD so I can not worry about needing to drive it when I tear it down. These pictures are of when me and dad first fixed it up(bondo and spray paint just to drive it) its seen better days now, I'm glad i don't have new pictures of it as it sits from where I sideswiped a guardrail(still learning to drive almost 5 years ago) The truck is my Pride and Joy and when finished will be a sunny day truck.

Re: How about some pics of 73-87 Long Beds?
Nonsense! It will ruin the look AND usefulness of the truck, leave it! Just replace the cab mounts.
