There was a company that did crew cab conversions for some companies...but GM didn't make a crew cab out of 67-72's...

Re: ** YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN ** The truck Chevrolet should have built.

Well come on, Drew! If you didn't take so long on this thing...taking so many pictures and writing this build up like a dissertation, and Jonathan (VA72C10) and 67cheby posting so often, we might have something that the average person could read in one sitting

JK! This build is awesome and worth the read

Me too. But it's bad for a guy that wants a crew cab 67-72 though.

Me too, but I just don't see me having the intestinal fortitude and bank roll Drew has so I don't see me with a crew anytime soon. So I'll just keep coming here for a daily fix.

I agree 100% with this....I REALLY want a crew cab now...if I had an opportunity to get one almost complete in my budget (not happening ) I'd sell my wife's old honda van in a heartbeat and make the crewcab our daily driver since we don't put many miles on a vehicle...

This is a bit of a update head fake since I have no new work to report.

Enjoy our family portrait.

Somebody needs to produce a one-piece low roof skin and a driver side rear door & B-pillar jamb setup to make this conversion easier. I bet they would sell like mad.

They should make a set of Suburban style door window frames that could be installed onto truck door shells while they are at it.

WOW, your a brave guy posting pics wearing that kind of "getup", at least the whole family was into it, and made your pants sort of blend in to the surroundings.

Hope you had a great holiday, now go put that trim on already!!!!
