Re: Post Your Craigslist Finds

Why,why, why do people remove the A/C parts on a truck. If the A/C stops working or the compressor seizes remove the belt and leave everything intact. Case in point this nice original 1971 Cheyenne Shorbox and yes he wants all the money for it, would be a great truck to use as is or restore but after buying the truck you'd have to chase around looking for A/C parts.

He seems to want all the money for a truck that is in much better condition in my opinion.

That is one hot truck...Hugger orange with a white top has to be one of my favourite colour combos. That being said if the frame is rot free, floors are solid, and the roof doesn't leak I could justify paying that kind of money, especially if thats the original paint. Its hard to find trucks with crammed SPIDS that have remained unmolested and are in running, driving condition.

Re: Post Your Craigslist Finds

1970 GMC Short Wide bed, a real one with SPID that matches cab numbers. Great color combo and nice options.

This one is a great buy, Its a friends truck, I almost bought it but I really have too many trucks right now.
He is an honest seller.
Its a real V8 short bed, spid matches cab, I think he said the frame does too.
SPID says red and white with lower trim.
PS and PB, someone converted it to 5 lug.
He bought it to flip.
Needs a cab support or 2, rockers and cab corners, bed is pretty nice. He will sell the bed for 2k.
