Speaking of Dashboards. What is you final setup gonna look like. I recall way back you thinking about using the donor's gauges some how. Thx

Sweet! Have always digged the Smiths/Jaeger guages. Have these been rebuilt? They look super clean. 10K on the dolphin tach....Nice!!!

Yes I rebuilt them and installed a stepper motor in the speedo from an acura RSX cluster. Tach bezel was modded to fit the dolphin unit and a custom lense cut. |

Hey Frizzle, how's the project coming? Or have you been doing some other cool things in other parts of the world again?

Hey guys. Almost done now with a three month work project that has consumed me. Only progress since January has been some sound deadener. Can't wait to get back on this!

Re: '66 Sunbeam Minx Project - F20C/6sp/4-link/Discs...
Thanks for keeping the faith guys! I just got some time out there this weekend. Here's the latest:
Hibernation mode: Rivet detail under hood: Vent windows rebuilt with new seals from AU (only one guy in the world making these) New boot (trunk) seal: Trunk Latch: Stainless hardware: Sound Deadener - So time consuming! Door seal on door and new rear quarter glass: ...and Driftbeam's new stablemate (since December) |

Welcome back Frizzel - that was a long hibernation.
Whats this little stablemate - Fiat? Hope its not a distraction to finishing the Sunbeam |

Yes, it's a Fiat 500e (full EV) we call Zippy. It may or may not have been a slight distraction. But I can tell you it has a new rear sway bar and stereo upgrade. Abarth coilovers are waiting to go in. |

I see the Tahoe has been reduced to "shelf status."
Looking good!

Re: '66 Sunbeam Minx Project - F20C/6sp/4-link/Discs...
FF,
The Minx is looking good. . . really good! Thought I would muddy the waters for you a bit. http://www.mgexp.com/article/diy-woo...g-wheel-1.html BTW, your dash turned out quite well. I didn't realize you needed to or could modify your gauges that way. Think they need a smilie that shows the light at the end of the tunnel.
