Re: Chucks SWB Fleetside

Thanks Mike, I just had my hand on it and pushed the door open a little and it moved down and towards the door and I was like ''Thats not normal'' lol.

I got the Dynamat on the floor and back wall. I still need to put some on the firewall behind the glovebox door and further to the left. I should finish that up tomorrow. I trimmed the passenger side kick panel speaker enclosure to fit better. Just had to do something different than Dynamat.

Re: Chucks SWB Fleetside

I also am going to get some velcro for the carpet. To even it up a bit a attach it to the back wall. It just has two screws in it. One under each rear speaker panel.

Re: Chucks SWB Fleetside

Your interior is looking great chuck. Nice job on the dynamat and the speaker install. I have the same rear speaker enclosure as you, looks like it mounted up very nicely.

Re: Chucks SWB Fleetside

Thanks Keith. They mount up nice. I welded the bottom bracket to my floor rather than bolting them. I also put dynamat on the back side of them too.

Re: Chucks SWB Fleetside

I ordered 72'. They were in 2'x4' pieces 9 ea. I had 1 2/3 left and some small scraps. So about 60 feet is what I used.

Looks great Chuck! What carpet are you using on the back of your cab? Is that a prefab panel?

Thanks Chuck, I was on ebay last night and saw they sell it in 36 Sq ft. boxes. I guess two would do it. I don't know what it is but I like the dynamat in black, even if you won't see it

yeah it's prefab and fit pretty good. I cut some off the ends since it won't be seen. I got it from southern ky classics. It just called back wall carpet I think.

yeah I bought that last time. It's a little easier to work with in the smaller panels like that. Mine were large but I liked it. Make sure to use a littl roller. I lost mine and used just about everything to press it down.
