Re: Tootsie build for my mother with cancer
No I just think it will be really cool to see it all together. I am trying to get valve covers painted and striped before I leave for delmar. I have most of the fram back together and all I can say is wow. It is turning out better then I had anticipated. The polished hardware is unreal.

Re: Tootsie build for my mother with cancer
Some of you requested pics of my bike I painted. I painted this bike two years ago in my drive way with a broken leg. It was funny watching me hop around but I got it done.

That bike is SICK! I can't wait to see the chassis all back together man! Looking forward to the valve covers. I can't even imagine what those will look like!

Is that customized big dog pitbull or is it a full custom? Either way it's killer!

Re: Tootsie build for my mother with cancer
It started as a pit bull. 117 sas fuel injected. I started with a black base. Then I laid a pearl down call white magic. Then I taped of the stripes and laid down hok Orion silver. Pulled the tape then laid hok kandy brandy over everything followed by two heavy coats of clear. Then wet sanded and added vergated gold leaf and red striping. Followed by more clear. The I cut and buffed and walla she was done. Changed the seat and seat shocks head light and bars.

Lookin' good! So, do you wear gloves during all your automotive work? Do your patients freak out at the grease under your fingernails as you stick your fingers in their mouth?

Re: Tootsie build for my mother with cancer
I have to agree with gringo.
I met a dentist that said he had to pay someone else to carry out his auto repairs as he didn't want to tear up his hands. That bike is beautiful!!! You sir, have talent. Posted via Mobile Device

Re: Tootsie build for my mother with cancer
As a motorcycle guy first I must say that the scoot looks terrific. I agree with Keith about the scoot matching the truck...My streetglide was black and when parked next to my truck they look great together.. lol

I still can't believe you painted that bike in your driveway! Is there anything you can't do?

Re: Tootsie build for my mother with cancer
Hope to see a build thread on this dropmember trailer.
Has Nate moved over to the bike side of your hobby yet? Any off the wall suspension designed for it as well?
